Stock and Availability
Are all alternative metal rings in stock?
Most alternative metal rings are in stock and ready to ship. Some exceptions include specialty rings like dinosaur bone rings with diamonds and larger sizes.
Are 10k and 14k gold rings in stock?
10k and 14k gold rings are kept in small quantities. Contact us for specific availability.

Please provide the ring style, size, width, PO#, any engraving details, your payment information, if the item is being drop shipped and the shipping address.

What payment methods do you accept?

Packing Slip & Invoice Preferences
Can I choose whether to receive packing slips or invoices for each order?
Packing slips and invoices are set per account, not per order. You can choose:
1. Packing Slips Only (No Pricing): Ideal for online retailers and hybrid stores that drop ship and order to their store.
2. Invoices with Every Order: Best for brick-and-mortar stores that do not typically ship directly to clients.

Shipping Information
What is your shipping policy?
Orders placed before 2 PM PST ship the same day. We ship via FedEx and provide tracking information via email and by logging into your account at Universal-Jewelry.com.
What are your shipping options and rates?
FedEx 2-Day: $10
FedEx Standard Overnight: $30
FedEx Priority Overnight with Saturday delivery: $45
When will weekend orders be shipped?
Orders placed after 2 PM PST on Friday will ship the following business day.
Drop Shipping
Do you offer drop shipping?
Yes, we offer free drop shipping for retail partners. Just pay the shipping cost and there is no additional fee to drop ship with us.
Can I request shipment without an invoice?
Yes, upon request, packages will include only a packing slip, warranty card, and the product.
Returns and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We offer a 45-day return policy.
How does the 1-for-1 stock balancing program work?
For each new item purchased, you can return one item. We credit you what you paid on the previous towards the new. Contact sales@universal-jewelry.com for approval and a quote.
What condition must returned items be in?
Returned items must be undamaged to qualify for credit. A 20% restocking fee applies to 14k gold rings (No returns accepted after 45 days).
Warranty and Repairs
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty covers defects and accidental damage for a small fee.
How do I initiate a warranty claim?
Contact the jeweler where you purchased the ring, or if you are a retail partner, submit a claim through our RMA portal within 24hrs our team will email you back your RMA number and go forward instructions.
Do you offer repair services?
Repair prices will vary based on the ring design and the damage associated with each specific warranty claim.

Does Thorsten offer memo arrangements for jewelry inventory?
No, Thorsten does not participate in memo agreements. Instead, we offer a 45 day return policy and provide a quarterly 1-for-1 stock balancing program, allowing retailers to return items of equal or greater value for every new item purchased each quarter. How many characters are allowed on text engravings?
For best results, engravings are limited to 30 characters, including spaces, to ensure the text looks clear and visually appealing.
Ring Sizing Information
What is the difference between Comfort Fit and Standard Fit?
Our alternative metal rings are crafted in a "comfort fit" style, meaning the inside of the ring is rounded to make it easier to slide over the knuckle. Standard fit rings have a flat interior with a consistent diameter from one edge to the other.
How does this difference affect fit?
Comfort fit rings generally feel looser than standard fit rings of the same size. We recommend ordering about a half size smaller than your standard size when choosing a comfort fit ring.
Does ring width affect sizing?
Yes, ring width can impact fit. Wider rings (10 mm or more) may feel tighter, so sticking with your standard size can often work well.
